Compression Load Cell

Compression load cells work on the strain gauge technology principle. When a load (weight) is applied on the top surface:

• The internal metal element slightly deforms (compresses).
• Strain gauges fixed on the element detect this deformation.
• The strain gauges convert the deformation into a small electrical signal (mV).
• The signal is amplified and displayed as weight on the indicator.
